Panel members have their say on the budget
A special thank you to all panel members who took part in the budget consultation event on the 21st November 2009, we found your feedback very valuable. The feedback from the budget consultation discussion groups were presented to the Director of Finance and Resources, Ian Williams as part of the consultation on the budget proposals for 2010/ 11. Your valuable feedback from the event is helping to inform decisions about longer term priorities for the Council and will help to indicate where resources should be focussed and where the Council might find savings.
The Mayor’s budget was approved at a full Council meeting held on Wednesday 3rd March, confirming that Hackney Council’s element of the Council tax is frozen for the fifth successive year , with no cuts to services . You can find out more about the Hackney Council 2010/11 budget by clicking here.
